LÜCHOW

An alarm sounds at the West-German Lüchow radar center. A soviet aircraft is crossing the border nearby at 12km height. This is the first time since the Cold War something of the like happens and despite the tension created by the situation, nobody is truly concerned.

There is no genuine reason, because the Soviet Union has been opening up these last months. A document was even singed by both the US and the Soviet Union together with a bunch of European nations that in a situation like this, no attack should be expected.
